A spicy, warming health tonic based on a folk recipe. Used traditionally as an immune system booster and for sinus congestion, increased circulation and as a digestive aid. Unlike many fire ciders, our version is not pre-mixed with honey. In this state it is vegan-friendly and an excellent choice for those who need/want to cut back on sugars. You may like it straight up, as I do, or you may wish to add your own honey or other sweetener of choice.
This product was named back when the term "Fire Cider" was stolen by some "unfriendlies" who went ahead and trademarked something that was not their own. Now that we can once again (yaaaayyyyyy!!!) use the name that was coined by the herbalist Rosemary Gladstar (NOT "the unfriendlies" or their roommate or their grandma or their dog or whatever they were claiming,) we considered changing it back to simply Fire Cider, but it has come to our attention that this downright silly and ridiculous alternative name is well loved - so here we are.
Ingredients: Raw apple cider vinegar, horseradish root, ginger root, yellow onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper, cayenne, turmeric, lemon peel, black peppercorns, rosemary, thyme, sage. (*all organic)
Directions: Take once daily as an immune system support tonic, take 2-3 times daily upon symptom onset. "Dosing" is completely up to you. Most people will recommend taking a "shot" or a tablespoon at a time of fire ciders, but I've found that a couple of droppersful is plenty.
Available in in 2 oz amber glass bottles with dropper top or 4 oz amber glass bottle with flat top.
