Wild Cherry Bark Syrup DIY // Make Your Own Cough Syrup

There's definitely something magical about having a hand in making your own medicines.  After the success of our Elderberry Syrup DIY Kit, we’ve decided to put together a whole lineup of syrup kits, with Wild Cherry Bark Cough Syrup being the second installment.

This kit includes all of the herbs needed to make your own large batch of syrup!  You will receive two pouches of herbs, one containing the wild cherry bark, and another containing the pre-measured mix of hyssop leaf, elecampane root, chamomile flowers and dried orange peel, along with printed instructions.  You will need to supply water, orange juice (optional), and raw honey (you can substitute other sweeteners if necessary such as agave syrup, brown rice syrup, simple syrup or maple syrup.)  You will also need a quart-sized mason jar or 32-oz glass bottle for storage.

Since we love the idea of herbal medicines being accessible, you do not have to purchase this listing to receive the recipe. If you’d rather source the herbs elsewhere, simply click through the product shots to see how to make it!
